Antique Motorcycle Theme
This is the Lloyd's Antique Motorcycle Theme home theater, which we designed and built in a games-room over my garage.
The theme may appear rather strange for a home theater but we love antique motorcycles and so wanted to use this as a center theme behind our home theater design.
This DIY home theater was built on a very tight budget but we still managed to include many antique motorcycle posters, together with other related pictures such as the Route 66 poster, and even Motorcycle Kiddie ride as part of the overall room decor. The result is a most particular ambiance that manages to merge our best interests - home theater and antique motorcycles - into our best entertainment room ever!
Audio is mainly based on a Soy DVD player, and a Denon home theater receiver complemented by Marantz and Adcom power amplifiers driving a 7.1 speaker setup using M&K speakers. My projection setup consists of a Sony video projector and a 105-inch projector screen using Goo System projection screen paint solution. An APC power conditioner and a Logitech universal remote complement the whole equipment lineup.
The following is a list of equipment used to complete this home theater project:
Denon - AVR-3310ci 7 Channel Receiver
Sony VPL-HS20 Projector
M&K S125 Front Speakers
M&K S125 Shielded Center Speaker
M&K K4BK Rear Surround Speakers
M&K K4BK Rear Speakers
Engery XL-S10 Sub Woofer
Marantz MA-500 Single Channel Amp
Adcom GFA-555 ii Classic power Amp
Adcom GFA-2535/L - 4 Channel Amp
105 in Goo Digital Screen
Sony DVPN700M DVD Up Converter Player
APC H15 Power Conditioner

Included also is a popcorn machine and an extensive DVD library.
Since completion, spending family time together has become more fun while we watch our favorite movies in our antique motorcycle theme home theater!
