Terrace Cinema, by 'Innovative Theatres', is an expression of timeless good taste in one of the West Coast's premier locations. 

Set inside a magnificent Palladian Villa overlooking Newport Harbor, Terrace Cinema was designed to blend seamlessly with the home's impeccable neo-classic interior details.

The Terrace Cinema is a three-row, twelve-seat theater featuring custom crafted theater recliners styled in mink-toned ultra suede with deep contrasting piping.

Rich Mahogany-finished woods with Olive Burl accents predominate the design in the proscenium, wall pilasters, crown molds and wainscot.

Acoustical wall panels are covered in burnished gold fabric with gold rope details.

The audio and video for this custom home theater installation is first class. The home theater sound system includes the JBL Synthesis Two 7.1 Logic surround sound system. Also included in this package is the JBL SDEC 3A to adjust the speaker systems to the acoustical properties of the room for a perfect THX flat response curve.

The video projection system for the Terrace Cinema is the SIM2 C3X projector - a state-of-the art 3-chip DLP high-definition home theater projector capable of exceptional performance. It is used in conjunction with Vantage HD video scaler which upscales the program material to 1080p.

The projection screen is a Stewart micro-perforated filmscreen measuring 10 feet across and contains masking panels for 4:3 format and 1:85 to 2:35 aspect ratios.

The Crestron TPS-5000 touch panel and the Crestron pro 2 processor provides the theater automation.

Cinema mood lighting is abundant with continuous cornice up-lighting, integral step lighting, low-voltage art spots and designer wall sconces located on the theater's four architectural pilasters.

A subtle cheque-patterned carpet adds an unexpected accent to the interior and promotes a cozier, more family style ambience.

All AV electronics and automation for Terrace Cinema were designed and installed by Innovative Theatres.
