The Media Haven - A Basement Home Theater

Basement Home Theater:

I initially didn't plan on anything like this, but we had one room that had no windows and legally you can't make it into bedroom, so one idea led to another and this is what we got.

The picture really doesn't do it justice. I need a wide angle lens to show more of it.

It has two rows of theater seating with a 8" rise in the back row. 5 wall Pillars with sconce lights (which I made from raw lumber). There is also a Crown Molding with indirect rope lighting, Tin Style Ceiling, popcorn machine and small fridge.

A 60 inch LG Plasma with Energy 7.1 surround system completes the whole home theater setup. The room is somewhat small (12 X 19 ft.) but sounds saaweeeeet! My wife and kids love it!
