The G-Spot Basement Home Theater

The G-Spot Basement Home Theater

Welcome to my G-Spot Home Theater!

I have been a movie enthusiast all my life. One of my many ambitions was to build a home theater myself and after several, finally I managed to take the plunge and complete the whole project; it was well worth the wait.

This is a basement home theater, which I decided to name as 'The G Spot', because despite lying in the basement, this represents a truly great spot where all the family enjoys spending some great time together!

It is a mid-size six-seat home theater measuring 23 feet by 14 feet.

I did research loads of equipment prior to putting it all together as I just wanted to ensure I get the best setup for my available budget.

The basic gear consists of a 9.2 speaker system using Definitive Technology speakers, an Optoma home theater projector, and a 106-inch projection screen. Seating comprises six dedicated home theater seats each fitted with two mini Buttkickers, while my home theater insurance policy consists of a Panamax power conditioner.

Here is a detailed list of all the equipment I purchased to complete this basement home theater project; included are links to product manufacturers should it be of interest to find more information on the products I purchased to complete my home theater.

What is the budget backet for this home theater?
by: Anonymous

Would you please indicate the budget bracket within which the G-spot Home Theater falls?

I am asking as this whole home theater appears to have come together into quite a professional looking design. I like it!
