    projection TV review </b>updates by taking a look at Sony's 2004 line of CRT 
    and LCD rear projection HDTVs.</span></font><p style="margin-top: 30; margin-bottom: 20">
    <font size="2"><span style="font-family: Verdana">Sony LCD projection TVs 
    make use of three separate LCD panels - one for each color component&nbsp; - 
    meaning that there are no color wheels in their light engine to trigger that 
    dreadful rainbow effect. </span></font>

    <span style="font-family: Verdana">As for the traditional CRT rear 
    projection models, the Sony projection TV sets are among the cheapest, yet

    originally reviewed on our site as one of the few cheap products offering 
    both the plans and the plastic lenses. Late in Decemebr 2004, we issued an 
    update following a number of complaints by customers re. delays in </span>
    </font><font face="Verdana" size="2">processing of orders by MaxTheater.
