Sony LED v/s Samsung LED LCD HDTV

This is very informative wrt to led/lcd tvs. It has cleared the doubts that Sony is not that better than Samsung.

May be there are some technical reasons why Sony costs more than Samsung. But for a normal viewer this is not going to make a difference because Samsung offers more value for money.

Sony is just a thief....in the name of technology...just the good look is the only survival for them....Samsung is uncomparable...and great.

Both Sony and Samsung LED LCD Tvs are of type edge LEDs only.

 Sony's Trilluminous LED's

Sony's LED LCD lit it is way better .....

1. Sony uses local dimming technology on their LED LCD/which is better than Samsung's & others Edge lit technology.

2. Local dimming (Sony)has a hand above edge lit as it provides complete black level for the low light scenes ,where the edge lit (Samsung & others) produces some halo of light even in the totally dark scenes , which removes the originality of the video content.

3. Sony Have their technology for LED LCD's called as Trilluminous LED's (they have their patent on it.) .

4.Trilluminous LED's are the combination of one red ,one blue,and two white.

5. Trilluminous LED's are more in numbers on Sony's LED (Main Cause of the higher price tag).

6. Sony's BRAVIA Engine 2 + Trilluminous LED's give out the better contrast ratio & black level.
