Panasonic V-10 Motion Handling

by Bob
(Santa Cruz)

I recently purchased a Panasonic 58-inch V-10 TV. The picture is terrific, however, motion jerkiness seems excessive. It is connected via HDMI to a Denon 2310 AV receiver. I sit 16 ft. away from the set. I thought smooth video was a given with the 600 Hz engine. Any thoughts?

Panasonic V10 Plasma TV - Motion Handling Issue

I presume you are referring to jerky movement with film-based 24p content. Have you tried to use the set 96Hz processing setting?

Note: However, for this to be effective, you need to ensure that your video source outputs film-based content direct in 24p.
