I just love this review/comparison and after looking at both sets in various Electronic Stores I agree with your assessment. I opted for the 860 based on features and price and must say I am very pleased as a result.
This commentary is what helped me take a closer look into the two. The Cinema Smooth function works great on my set. The Widgets is another feature that is pretty cool as well as the ability to stream media from my PC to the big screen.
I have had no issues with (so-called buzzing) on my 860 as of yet besides just the usual very light sound one always has with Plasma sets. I am just about ready to calibrate my display and can only say that if it gets any better with picture quality after the calibration then I will just be beside myself. This picture is already great!!.
I wish to thank you for a wonderful write-up on these two sure to please Plasma TVs.
