Practical HT Guide Update
You have followed a new system upgrade - everything is ready for the great
show ...but is it really so?
I am sure that most home
theater enthusiasts would do their utmost to get the very best in system
performance out of their set-up.
Yet few realize that
completing the system set-up process in line with the user manual is not
enough. You can do a lot better and squeeze even more out of your cheap or
expensive home theater configuration by going through a proper system
calibration process.
The whole concept may sound
a bit too complicated - even frightening for the non-techie. However, the
truth is that this should not be the case - all you have to do is to make
use of an appropriate home theater set-up DVD, (also referred to as
calibration discs).
Mind you, calibration DVDs
do not replace a professional - BUT there are many instances where a good
quality calibration DVD would do a lot towards helping you achieve better
picture and improved sound. And the good thing about set-up DVDs is that you
do not need to be an AV engineer to use one of these calibration discs to
optimize the on-screen controls for improved system performance.
If you would like to know more about set-up DVDs and available calibration
discs, I suggest that you take a look at the following recent additions to

Take care and stay tuned!
