Welcome to this issue of Practical HT Guide Update

Work on the site did slow down a little bit during the last weeks in view of the holiday period; surely, I will be making up for this in the coming weeks. However, I still managed to put together some new content and a couple of revised pages as well.

In fact, all pages under Satellite TV Guide and Free Satellite TV Offers sections have now been revised to ensure that all info appearing under these sections is completely up to date.

And what about the NEW content?

Well, I was on holidays - so I did not work on anything related to home theater!

Yet I had long been considering to write an article that explains how practical-home-theater-guide. COM came to existence. Surely this is not a technical article about some aspect of home theater, rather it is a personal account of why I started working on the site and how I did manage to build a successful website without ever having any prior knowledge of search engines, website building tools, etc.

Seeing the continuous increase in the site popularity, - according to Alexa ranking, the site is within the top 0.5% of all active sites on the web - I thought that it's the right time to reveal the secret behind the site success.

I hope that by sharing my experience in this respect, I would be helping those readers who like me, are looking for ways to turn an interest or a hobby into a successful online activity. More information here.
