5 Reasons to Swap Your Wooden Stand for TV Wall Mounting Brackets

In this new age of technology, people are moving away from old standards and embracing new ones like TV wall mounting brackets. What’s so great about a TV on the wall? Here are five reasons to abandon your gaudy TV stand and mount it on the wall instead. |
1. It clears off space in your room and eliminates clutter
With a TV mounted on the wall your entertainment room will seem like it nearly doubles in size. There will be no need for a intrusive piece of furniture with no real function but to hold up the box that controls your life. A mounted TV drastically increases space in the entertainment room and will eliminate clutter as well.
2. It makes you look cool
TV wall mounting brackets allow you to vault your TV off its normal expected position on a stand in the living room to virtually any location you can imagine. Wall mounts can be attached to many different surfaces, and this allows for freedom in your home when decorating. Anybody would love to brag to their friends that their TV was mounted high above a fireplace like a movie screen. Or maybe the bedroom is your favorite tv watching spot; you could even mount it to the ceiling above the bed so you could lie back and zone out! Who wouldn’t be jealous of you?
3. You can swivel it!
Not only do TV wall mounting brackets let you place your TV wherever you want, but now most have the ability to swivel side-to-side and/or up and down . This lets you sit or stand anywhere in the room and see your TV perfectly. Just adjust the angle so it faces you and you have perfect viewing from anywhere! This might seem like a gimmick, but it comes in handy for parties when lots of people are present, and also if you wanted to sit at a counter or desk and work while watching TV.
4. Nothing can accidentally knock into it
Placing a TV on a large stand on the ground is fine, but it also makes it far easier for accidents to occur and damage your precious piece of equipment. Not to mention, if little ones are present, they usually run around at full speed until they bump into something, namely your TV. Nobody wants anything like this to happen to such an investment, and with TV wall mounting brackets, you won’t ever have to worry about it.
5. Bigger stands are harder to find
TVs are getting larger by the day it seems. As they increase in size and weight so must the pieces of furniture required to house them. A 62” screen requires at least that amount of space in width to hold it, and most of us don’t have that kind of free space in our homes. Mounting the TV on the wall saves money on a stand, and frees up the space that would have been taken up if the TV was on the floor.
